Job Description_Consultant for High-Voltage Motor Structural Design 2026.03.10 1. Background and Purpose As electric machines continue to scale toward larger capacity and higher output, the importance of structural design considering not only mechanical strength of rotor and stator assemblies but also vibration stability is increasing significantly. However, current design practices tend to rely on conservative safety factors based on past experience. In newly developed lightweight models, noise and vibration issues are occurring simultaneously. In addition, systematic verification capabilities for structural stability under high-speed operating conditions and structural vibration during operation are not yet sufficiently established. Therefore, we aim to establish a professional consulting framework that incorporates global best practices and advanced design verification systems in large rotating machinery structural design. This initiative seeks to ensure structural integrity while achieving weight reduction and optimal design. 2. Required Experience and Skills 1) Mandatory Requirements ? Minimum of 15 years of practical experience in structural design of large rotating machinery (high-voltage motors, generators, etc.), or equivalent senior-level technical leadership ? Extensive experience and technical expertise in structural strength design, dynamic behavior analysis, and vibration stability evaluation ? Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct technical discussions and advisory activities in English 2) Preferred Qualifications ? Experience working at or collaborating with leading global motor manufacturers (ABB, Siemens, TMEIC, etc.) ? Experience in design verification and optimization based on structural analysis ? Experience in root-cause analysis and design improvement for rotor system vibration issues 3. Role of the Structural Consultant - Serve as a structural design consultant for high-voltage motors, providing evaluation and improvement guidance for existing standard models - Diagnose root causes and propose corrective actions for internal defects and field issues related to noise and vibration - Establish structural design standards & develop comprehensive design guidelines
