NL

Netherlands

Octagon is a Dutch employer with its own NL entity. The contract and filings below run through us, not a partner.

  • Dutch employment contract with Octagon as the employer, under CAO-compliant terms.
  • 30% ruling application filed by Octagon for qualifying inbound hires.
  • IND Recognised Sponsor filings for non-EU hires, under the accelerated route.
  • Housing introductions via Outpost — Octagon’s in-house relocation service since 1995.
  • Banking introductions at established Dutch banks.

UK

United Kingdom

Octagon operates its own UK entity. Employment runs on a UK contract under English law.

  • UK employment contract with Octagon as the employer.
  • IR35 status assessed upstream so the engagement is classified correctly before day one.
  • Visa sponsorship support where the role and candidate qualify for a sponsored route.
  • Property search guidance and introductions where useful.
  • UK bank account introductions.

DE

Germany

Octagon runs its own German entity. Your contract is a German employment contract, not a cross-border passthrough.

What Octagon handles

  • German employment contract with Octagon as the employer.
  • Visa sponsorship support where the role and candidate qualify.
  • Krankenversicherung (health insurance) guidance — public versus private, with a real explanation of the trade-offs.
  • Housing guidance on Schufa, Bürgen, and Kaution, plus introductions where useful.
  • Banking introductions at established German banks.

France

Octagon has its own French entity. Employment runs on a French contract under French labour law.

Italy

Octagon operates its own Italian entity. Everything below runs under an Italian employment contract.

  • Housing search guidance in Milan, Rome, Turin, or wherever the role is based, with introductions where useful.
  • Italian banking introductions.

CY

Cyprus

Octagon runs its own Cypriot entity. English is the working language for most of our Cyprus-based engagements.

What Octagon handles

  • Cypriot employment contract with Octagon as the employer.
  • Visa sponsorship support where the role and candidate qualify.
  • Housing introductions in Nicosia, Limassol, or Paphos.
  • Banking introductions at established Cypriot banks.
  • English-first working environment. Many placements do not require Greek.

What it costs you

Relocation support is part of the standard Octagon package for the roles we handle. It is not a separate invoice to you, and it is not a benefit you negotiate for. It is built into how we run an engagement.

There are edge cases — a small number of short-term contractor engagements run on a different model. Where that applies, the role post will say so up front. The default is the one described above.
