What this sector is

International organisations in The Hague — Europol, OPCW, Eurojust, the ICC, and their peer bodies, alongside EDA on the EU side — operate under host-state agreements with the Netherlands. Those agreements carry distinct tax, social-security, and immigration treatment, and a separate privileges-and-immunities framework for core staff. Contractor and support placements, however, sit under commercial employment, which is where Octagon works. We have supported The Hague international corridor since the late 1990s, including the former ICTY before it closed in 2017.
